Membership
Deepen your art. Protect your school.
USMAO is a nonprofit community for martial arts instructors and senior practitioners who want to grow through cross-system learning — with a written promise never to threaten what you've built.
Our promise to you
We never poach. Ever.
USMAO does not recruit, solicit, or accept students from member dojos — ever. We fully respect your dojo, your instruction, and your students. Our purpose is education, not competition, and our activities are designed to complement, not interfere with, your school and its culture.
What USMAO is
Not a style. Not a rank. A community.
USMAO is a nonprofit led by experienced martial artists from many disciplines. We provide an open forum where instructors and practitioners from diverse martial backgrounds can exchange knowledge, explore universal principles, and preserve the historical integrity of the arts while remaining relevant in modern practice.
Our goal is simple: to promote quality martial arts through education, historical understanding, ethical conduct, and responsible cross-system training.
USMAO is not a style, a rank, or a franchise. It is a community built on shared knowledge and mutual respect.
What sets USMAO apart
Master Promotions Opportunity
USMAO provides pathways for experienced practitioners to pursue master-level recognition through demonstrated skill, knowledge, and contribution to the martial arts community.
No student poaching
A written pledge backs our promise. We will never recruit or accept your students without your explicit written consent.
No style politics
USMAO is a principle-focused environment free from style politics. We don't regulate your school, your curriculum, or your art.
Cross-system learning
Train with masters from Judo, BJJ, Karate, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, and more — and discover the universal principles that connect every system.
